Pranacharya Bhawan Ayurvedic Sansthan was established in 1946 by the late Vaidya Sri Bankelal ji Gupt. He was a devoted student of Ayurveda and focused on accurate diagnosis and treatment using high-quality medicines he created himself. For his contributions to the field, he was given the highest Ayurvedic honor, “Pranacharya” . His son, the late Vaidya Sri Krishan Gopal ji, carried on his legacy. He earned a B.A.M.S. degree and became a prominent figure in medicine by pioneering the first Ayurvedic capsule and injection that combined modern science with Ayurveda. He was affectionately known as “Vijaygarh Wale Vaidyaji” for his work. After his passing, Vaidya Swadesh Kumar Agarwal, a B.A.M.S. graduate from Kanpur University, took over as the managing partner and principal physician. He led the institution to new heights under the guidance of his father. The current leaders, Neeraj Agarwal and Pankaj Agarwal, the sons of the late Vaidya Sri Krishan Gopal ji, have been instrumental in making Pranacharya Bhawan Ayurveda Sansthan the first GMP-certified Ayurvedic pharmacy. A representative of the next generation, Shashank Agarawal, the son of Vaidya Swadesh Kumar Agarwal, has also joined the profession after completing his B.A.M.S. from DYP Pune. For over 68 years, the company has continued to preserve and enhance the medical practices of its founders.
